Electoral Roll Name Change (AEC)

Registered voters need to prove identity when updating their name and/or address, and the easiest way to do this is by proving your driver’s licence details on the form.  It does not matter if the licence is in your old or new name.  If you do not have a driver’s licence you can have two registered voters who have known you for at least one month to sign your form declaring they have sighted your ID.
