Citizens customers can visit any Citizens Bank location to request a name change in person. You can’t change names online or by mail. Take your marriage certificate or court order and photo ID.
There are generally 3 places you need to visit in person following a name change; SSA, the DMV and your bank. Once these three are done the other dozen or so companies on your list can be done online or by mail.
