Air Academy Federal Credit Union needs to see photo ID that has been updated into your new name. That means you will need to update your name with the SSA first. Our customers can simply send the SSA name change form we provide. Once you have proof your name on file with the SSA has been updated, then go on to update photo ID. DMV will only allow a name that’s an exact match with SSA records. No matter which state you are in, you must attend a DMV office to change names in person as the DMV will want to see your original proof of name change, current licence and possibly take a new photo.
