Spirit Super

Superannuation Name Change Procedure

Spirit Super members can notify of their name change by sending in the Spirit Super change of name form, included in your Easy Name Change pack. If you’re changing names then chances are that you have dozens of places to notify. Save yourself weeks of hassle looking for forms and waiting for companies to confirm their name change process with you. Simply check off the companies you need to notify from our extensive database. We’ll instantly send you personalised name change forms, letters and emails for your selected companies. Attach the proof listed and send! Some companies need you to visit a branch, call or go online, so follow the company procedures in our personalised company checklist.

Spirit Super name change process

We provide the Spirit Super change of name form, which is personalised and ready to send. You’ll need to provide a certified copy of updated photo ID, so it’s a good idea to prioritise your driver’s licence or non-driver photo ID card. If you haven’t updated your photo ID yet, you can instead send your proof of name change document (eg: a marriage or legal name change certificate from Births, Deaths and Marraiges) along with photo ID in your former name.

Superannuation funds always require certified copies because they hold such a large asset on your behalf, so it’s important they safeguard your account and prove your identity. If you don’t have the time to find someone to certify your documents consider upgrading to our certified kit. We mail you all the letters and forms together with a secure envelope. Simply sign the notifications and return to us with the proof documents listed on your cover page. We then check your forms, attach with J.P certified copies and send everything off for you. Your original identity documents are returned the following day by registered mail.
